La compréhension par le dessin

Série de 8 dessins commentés, expliquant la nature profonde du problème existentiel que rencontre l’espèce humaine actuellement, avec l’expansion paroxystique de l’agressivité de l’Occident contre tout ce qui existe hors de son emprise.

Cette série de dessins a été réalisée sur ce thème car le langage est impuissant à évoquer ce problème, le langage ne permet pas de stimuler l’intelligence profonde, qu’on nomme intuition, ou prescience, forme d’intelligence qui est en lien direct avec l’Univers, ce que les anciens chinois dénommaient le Qi, ou le Tao. Le dessin est une expression du Qi, du Tao. Un ancien ami peintre de ma jeunesse, disait quand il avait l’inspiration, qu’il était dans la main de dieu. Il était de culture chrétienne et avait le concept de dieu, ce qui n’est pas mon cas, me reconnaissant dans les anciens penseurs taoïstes. On n’a encore jamais rapproché l’essence du Tao avec le dessin. Voilà qui est fait. Le Tao est l’infini mysticisme, la voie vers le sans limite, le dessin est la barque qui permet d’emprunter cette voie d’eau vers l’océan de l’Univers.

La sagesse populaire occidentale ancienne disait « une image vaut mille mots ».

L’espèce humaine, et bien au-delà, la vie sur la planète Terre fait face en ce moment à une épreuve mettant en jeu son devenir, c’est un instant crucial, soit nous parvenons à surmonter cette épreuve, soit il n’y a pas d’avenir pour la vie sur Terre, cela dépasse de loin le sort de l’espèce humaine seule.

A series of eight annotated drawings explaining the profound nature of the existential problem currently facing the human race, with the paroxysmal expansion of Western aggression against everything outside its sphere of influence.

This series of drawings was created on this theme because language is powerless to evoke this problem; language cannot stimulate the deep intelligence known as intuition or prescience, a form of intelligence that is directly connected to the Universe, what the ancient Chinese called Qi or Tao. Drawing is an expression of Qi, of Tao. An old painter friend from my youth used to say that when he was inspired, he was in the hand of God. He was from a Christian background and had the concept of God, which is not my case, as I identify with the ancient Taoist thinkers. No one has ever linked the essence of Tao with drawing. Now it has been done. Tao is infinite mysticism, the path to the limitless; drawing is the boat that allows us to take this waterway to the ocean of the Universe.

Ancient Western folk wisdom said, ‘A picture is worth a thousand words.’

The human race, and beyond that, life on planet Earth, is currently facing a test that will determine its future. This is a crucial moment: either we overcome this test, or there is no future for life on Earth, which goes far beyond the fate of the human race alone.
